Christian entertainment doesn't seem healthy, yet it also does. I know, it seems contradictory, and on the one hand it is, but on the other hand it isn't. There are Christian musicians, actors, painters, and others who see their art not only for the art itself, but for the purpose of glorifying God and spreading the gospel message. For them, there is no ceiling to reach because, how do you reach a ceiling in glorifying God?

There are others who experience dissatisfaction when they either cannot make headway in their respectful arts and become the next big thing, or they have made it to the top and found that their dissatisfaction remains, despite having "record deals, [being] on planes, tour buses, in green VIP rooms."

Of course, recently we saw Jennifer Knapp come "out" to reveal that she is a lesbian, and before that Ray Boltz dropped the bomb that he was gay!

Can this guy even sing? I read so many emails about this guy, I just had to see it for myself.

U2: Christian?

Many seem to think that the band, U2, is Christian, especially their lead man Bono.

In my mind, the jury is still out, since it is almost impossible to simply use the words of their songs as an indicator of their status concerning salvation. I many times wonder if some explicit Christian bands are really Christian! How much more when a world famous personality like Bono claims to be Christian!

Hollywood sings about God's judgement!

Somehow Johnny Cash got a whole bunch of famous stars to appear in the video of his song called, "God's gonna cut you down." It tells the story of God's wrath on sinners.

Some of those I recognized are: Chris Rock, Kris Kristofferson, Justin Timberlake, Kate Moss, Sheryl Crow, Woody Harrelson, Dixie Chicks, Sharon Stone, Bono, Lisa Presley, Kid Rock, the ugliest guy from the Rolling Stones, Johnny Depp, Whoopi Goldberg and Owen Wilson.
