Apartheid gets the blame again!

Whenever the current ANC government in South Africa gets blamed for something, they always point back to the previous apartheid government and blame them. It is now already 11 years since the ANC took over government in South Africa, yet they still keep looking for scapegoats.

This is the case again now at the release of a report on HIV/Aids by the UN and the World Health Organisation (WHO). In this report South Africa is shown to have a high rate of infections and it seems to be increasing. It was claimed by the ANC government that government inaction before 1994 was the main reason why HIV infection had not been curbed.

The following statement was made by the ANC government:

"It was only after the advent of democracy that tangible efforts were made by government to curb the spread of HIV infection; provide treatment, care and support for those infected and affected; and address the stigma associated with HIV and Aids."

There you go! If someone murders others, blame the apartheid government. If someone gets raped, blame the apartheid government. When people carry on like dogs on heat running around having sex when they are not supposed to, blame the apartheid government.

When is this government going to take responsibility for its actions, or dare I say, inaction?

So, it was only after the 1994 'democratic' elections that tangible efforts were made by government to curb the spread of HIV/AIDS. That is 11 years! In 11 years they haven't been able to curb the rate of infections while other African countries with much less resources than ours have done so in less time!

The government must simply accept that they have created a nation without any morals. God was kicked out of the constitution, pornography was legalized, the premeditated murder (abortion) of babies was legalized and same-sex marriage was given the green light.

"(18) For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth.  (19)  For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them.  (20)  For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.  (21)  For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened.  (22)  Claiming to be wise, they became fools,  (23)  and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.  (24)  Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves,  (25)  because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.  (26)  For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature;  (27)  and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.  (28)  And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done.  (29)  They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips,  (30)  slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents,  (31)  foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless.  (32)  Though they know God's decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them." (Rom 1:18-32 ESV)
The ANC government must stop blaming the past for all evils in this country and start taking responsibility for all the dumb decisions they make. If they for once can stand up and say that they are willing to be held accountable, then perhaps they will start thinking before they do things. But no, they think that the law must adhere to their desires and cockeyed reasonings.

Please understand this: I am not a racist and I think racism is from the pit of hell! However, the ANC government perpetuates racism on a continuous basis by blaming the previous apartheid goverment. Everytime they blame something on the previous government, they simply drive the dividing wedge of racism deeper into the ground. It is time that they receive a wake up call! How long will you keep on blaming the past for your current blunders? Forever? Or, will you only take credit for the good things?

It is time this government humbles itself under the mighty hand of Jesus Christ. Christ is the One who sets up governments and also the One who will tear them down!

Just thinking...
