European Christian youth go starkers

Phil Johnson, a master at parody with his comic book covers, seems to be at a loss for words for a new calendar produced and promoted by a German Protestant youth group from Nuremburg. I kind of feel the same. It makes me wonder what is next?

I wrote two previous posts on the new BibleZine fad which is currently going on, which is bad enough! (The Bible being trivialized and The Bible being trivialized - continued)

This new calendar that was released actually features nudity! This makes the BibleZine fad look like a kindergarten class!

There is no longer any need from paroders like Phil Johnson to do any parodies, since the real thing has now become worse than the parodies.

That any "Christian" youth at any time could have thought that producing and selling a "Christian" calendar with naked people could ever in eternity be morally acceptable shows how empty their morality and Christian worldview has become.

The leaders of this church will bear their punishment for leading their young people away from the purity of Christ and towards the filth and impurity of hell! Leaders such as this have become double agents for the forces of hell and is in desparate need to be touched by the holiness of God.

Oh, that we may forever behold the glory of God, and not succumb to the temptations of this evil world.

Scripture is very strong on the lusts of the flesh:

"Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. (16) For all that is in the world--the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions--is not from the Father but is from the world."
1Jo 2:15-16 ESV

This group violates at least two of these forbidden lusts: lusts of the flesh and lusts of the eyes. What is next? Christian prostitution?

We need to pray for them and hope that they see the light. May God have mercy on their souls!

Just thinking...
